Seiko SPB249J1 Men's Prospex ‘Deep Lake’ Alpinist Automatic Date Bracelet Strap Watch, Silver/Blue
Product description
Product code: 41981020
The Seiko Prospex ‘Deep Lake’ Alpinist watch takes its design cues from the original ‘Alpinist,’ first launched in 1959 exclusively in the Japanese market for Japanese ‘Yama-otoko’ mountain men, to be reliable in treacherous terrain. Its colour is inspired by those peaceful alpine lakes, found deep in the mountains. Designed for practicality, this latest version is powered by the Automatic 6R movement with highly visible Lumi Brite on the dial and hands – easy to see in any light – and 200m water resistance. Prospex is a combination of the words 'Professional' and 'Specifications.' These timepieces are designed to be practical, reliable and durable within extreme or everyday environments, for experts, sports lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Brand information
DEDICATED TO PERFECTION The story of Seiko began in 1881, when a 22 year old Entrepreneur, Kintaro Hattori, opened a shop selling clocks in central Tokyo. Just eleven years later, in 1892, he established the ‘Seikosha’ factory and built its first clock, and in 1895, its first pocket watch. Today, after 135 years of innovation, Kintaro Hattori’s company is still dedicated to the perfection that the founder always strove to achieve.
